Individually stored drums settings for the MegaDRUM Device
I have just for fun have started to collect settings for the most common PADS, Triggers and Cymbals on the market for use with the MegaDRUM trigger device!
A nice jumpstart of library for you ones that not are tweakers!
All files are saved in the MegaDRUM SYX file format, which is easy way to both import and export drums as an individually settings in MegaDRUM Manager. Download the latest MDM here!
Please note that complete drum sets has the file extension MDM and separate drums has the SYX as file extension. They are loaded MDM on separate buttons.

Many thanks for compiling this. I’ve just bought a megadrum and will be trying some of these settings. I’ll give more feedback as I go as well as sharing anything I improve on.

The file for FD-8 appears to be invalid and won’t load into MCT.
Can you supply a screen shot?
Hi! The FD8.SYX works fine to load in MegaDRUM Manager. Please note if loading a syx file that the button for it is under LOAD in PAD settings. I have created a configuration picture. / Angr77

Tried to use some files but I believe they are not coming in correctly with the current version of MDM, For example CY-15R loads a High Level of -14130 (All of the files tested have) and all note numbers are 73.

Sounded real strange… so I had to test it myself. I have a windows PC running windows 8.1 and I am using Megadrum manager 20140201….no my files for CY-15R showed up correct on my system…. however if you have problems…. look on the configuration pictures link instead.

Does anyone know a startup setting for a very simple HHC-HH (Medeli) combination? The HH is triggering constantly.

Hi. Do you know if the hh is a type of piezo/switch type of trigger?
Well, I can not find it in the docu. I do think it’s a piezo/switch type. There’s only a HiHat Open and HiHat Closed sound anyway.
I think we need to figure that out first to be able to help you out. The cable going from the hi hat pad …. Is it a stereo type of connector. The tele connected has three zones?
It’s not in the docu, if an extra black line on the jack is an indicator for stereo, than it is. I don’t what ” the tele connected” means.
Ok. This could be tricky. 🙂 I did look through the manual for Medeli, and also made some searches on the net…but no luck. do you have any feeling if the constant triggering is coming from your pedal or from the hi-hat pad?
I would recommend that you place a question on MegaDRUM.info…it could be the case that somebody else has been using the Medeli HH on the forum.

can somebody confirm if the PD-8 and FD-8 settings are working for them? they aren’t working for me. Head/Rim separation is unusable.

Hello! I am trying to figure out how to make the 35mm quartz percussion set work for me. In your setup guide/preset downloads you say you are using a 15k ohm resistor on the head. Where excactly do I put this resistor? Thanks a lot in advance.

It is connected inline with the piezo. Just in serial on the tip.
